About Fort Lauderdale Web Design
Our Fort Lauderdale web design company did all the official artwork for the City of Fort Lauderdale festivals and events from 1999 to 2004. unfortunately, after that time the City of Fort Lauderdale canceled the Blues Festival and the Cajun-Zydeco Festival. However, we produced all the official artwork that was used. For instance, we made posters, t-shirts, brochures and newspaper ads. Plus, back in those days, the City of Fort Lauderdale didn’t have a separate website for any of their festivals. We had an
e-commerce website where we sold the official t-shirts. Unfortunately, many people were afraid to buy online. However, because of our affiliation with the City of Fort Lauderdale, they took a chance and boldly entered their credit card information. Consequently, they were able to purchase the official t-shirts. In fact, for many people, this was the first time they ever purchased anything online. Consequently, some would call to be reassured about purchasing.
Of course today most people don’t think twice about buying online.
We were at all of those festivals and had a great time selling the t-shirts while enjoying the music. Also, after the attacks of September 11, 2001, our committee of volunteers decided to raise some money. Consequently, the funds went to a non-profit organization in memory of Todd Beamer. You may recall that Todd organized a group to fight back and when he said, “Let’s Roll” they crashed a food cart into the cockpit cabin. As a result, we also designed t-shirts unrelated to the festival and sold them at the Blues Festival of 2001. Fortunately, we raised a little over $1,400.00 which was donated to The Todd Beamer non-profit organization.
We had about 6 dozen shirts left over and a client of ours told us about her sister in New York. She lost all her coworkers on September 11th. However, this woman survived because she was late for work due to a dental appointment. Sadly, the company she worked for was gone and as all of the employees were killed. For that reason, she volunteered with the Harlem Fire Department digging through the rubble. We shipped the shirts to them and they sent back an autographed photo of their firetruck. Over the years we won statewide competitions for “Best T-shirt Design in Florida” from the Florida Festivals and Events Association.
We’re very different
We’re very different from most other web developers. For instance, we don’t give you an hourly rate. Consequently, that would leave you in the dark about how many hours you’re going to have to pay to develop your project. We just don’t think that is fair. In fact, it would be like asking you to hand over a blank check. Consequently, we appreciate that in today’s economy businesses want to know the total cost before they decide to become
customers. We offer flat fee pricing on everything we do. Also, we like to meet in person and go over all the options. If you prefer then we can meet by phone or online to discuss all the details. Naturally, once we know all the details then we will give you a firm price for your project.
