RESPONSIVE WEB DESIGN

About Responsive Web Design

Responsive web design has done away with the need for a mobile version of your website. Naturally, unless you have some very unusual application you need to run on a mobile site it is not likely that you would need a separate mobile web design.

It has become normal to see newspaper headlines that say “Computer Sales In A Freefall” as tablet and smart phone sales continue to rise. For that reason, it may seem odd that we say you won’t need a mobile website. However, we are referring to the fact that you don’t need one website for computers and one for smart phones.

The good news is that now you can have one website that works everywhere. As a result, only one website is needed.

With a responsive web design the website will automatically change its shape to fit the display. Plus, it doesn’t matter which device being used to view the website. For instance, if you still have an old computer from the 1990’s a responsive website will work just fine there. Even if the monitor is so old that you can actually see the separate red, blue and green pixels. Plus, if you have the latest version of a new iPad with a Retina® Display a responsive website will display perfectly.

This type of web design will work on Android phones and tablets, Apple phones and iPads as well as laptop computers and desktop computers. For this reason, mobile web design as a separate project has become a thing of the past.

We only show a few examples here because literally all of our websites are examples. In fact, here you can see dozens of examples of our web development projects. These examples are on our main, ad agency website. For that reason, it is the website we keep updated with our latest projects.
